How
long have you had your computer? How many months of dust and dirt
have been drawn inside your computer
and stored there. Did you know dust and dirt inside of a computer
can greatly reduce the life of your computers critical hardware
parts?
When
your computer
gets dirty inside, the dirt covers and clogs important ventilation
areas that the hardware inside requires to properly remove
heat. Important case ventilation
fans can become clogged with dust and dirt and be rendered
useless in moving air. Critical parts such as the processor, video
card,
hard drive and power supply
already
produce
a large amount of heat while operating, but without proper
ventilation these parts will start to operate at much higher temperatures.
With
the parts operating at much higher temperatures it will cause
them to fail sooner. Cleaning is even more important with newer
computers
because of the more powerful, faster working hardware. This newer
hardware that provides such great speeds, can produce
up to ten times more heat than some older
computers.
When
you get your computer cleaned at Reese Computing, we will safely
and thoroughly clean out the dust and dirt from the inside
and outside of your computer including all ventilation holes and
fans, check all of the screws and fasteners holding the hardware
to make sure they are tight and in place, and check all power supply
cables
and data cables to make sure that they are tightly connected. We
will even to some basic tests to try and detect
any near future problems that may come up. Don't let your new computer
or your old computer live a dirty and shorter life, get your
computer cleaned at least once every 6 months.
